1st Hole Hole Out?
Ben Hook, Dad of Member Billy Hook, is holidaying in Melbourne and came out for a round today with Billy. Whilst the production team of the newsletter were getting another photo for the newsletter, they came across Ben & Billy on the 1st having a good laugh. Ben had just played his 2nd shot on the 1st of the Hills and managed to hole out on the 1st of the Lakes. Good shot!
Paul Claughton Hand Rail
A couple of months ago Paul Claughton slipped on the stairs of the 6th hole doing some fairly major damage to his ankle which required a considerable break from golf. During his absence, the Club installed handrails on many of the holes with stairs. Regular playing partner, Andy Parker, decided it would be a good idea to dedicate the handrail on the 6th to Paul. Paul looks suitably impressed.....
