Women's Xmas Party 2024
- Kid's
Xmas Party
The Kid's Xmas Party was a hit on Sunday with over 120 kids attending. Santa on the fire truck was the favourite and a big thanks to the Upper Beac CFA. Who was that in the santa suit? Rumour is that our General Manager Mark Lazenby donned the suit and was in his element! A huge thank you to Ros Harding, the Events Committee and their team of volunteers who put this event together.

SUnday Lessons
“The only sure way to get a hole in one is to be
playing terrible golf all by yourself on a course
you sneaked on to without paying on a day you
called in sick”
The Women's Xmas Party was held on Wednesday and what a great day it was. The theme for the day was ugly Xmas clothes.
A great deal of fun was had including having to use a marshmallow on the 6th hole instead of a golf ball. Some were heard
lamenting they got the same score with a marshmallow as when using a golf ball... Tony Shovelton and John Wheatley were up
to their usual tricks planting fake snakes and spiders in places to surprise along with letting off poppers filled with flour on some
downswings. This was followed by carols and a great lunch in the clubhouse.
Time For a Dip?
Steve Mancer got down and
dirty on Thursday playing this
shot from the water on the 27th
hole on Thursday. Steve got it
out onto the fairway and then
put his 3rd under the lip of the
greenside bunker. Then got
that up and down for one of
the most spectacular 5's his
playing partners had ever
seen!
