3rd Hole Works - Rule Clarification

The area where the works have been completed is currently
Compulsory GUR.

  • If your ball lands in the Compulsory GUR you must take
free relief on the fairway at the nearest point of relief, no
    nearer the hole.

  • If your ball lands in the Penalty area, your normal
options of landing in a penalty area apply.
    If you
choose to take relief from the point of entry, you must
drop the ball on the fairway at the nearest point of relief,
    no nearer the hole.
This is a 1 stroke penalty.

Please take care if you are walking in this area to retrieve a
ball as it may be slippery.

CARTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO DRIVE IN THIS AREA

Ruth Barker's Service Details

The Memorial to celebrate the vibrant life of Ruth will be held at 11am on Tuesday 15 April at the Stratus Chapel, Bunorong Memorial Park, 790 Frankston-Dandenong Road, Dandenong South.

Where Have My Balls Gone?

Please be aware that all balls won prior to 1 April have
been converted to pro shop credit.
This is to facilitate
the change to the value of the ball to $5.
The value of
the ball was $4.50 so if you had 10 balls on your
account - you now have $45 added to your pro shop
credit.
If at anytime you would like to know the status
of your account with the pro shop, you can just ask
them.
Just have your Member number ready which is
the number you use to log into the website, MiScore
etc.
It is also the last 4 digits of your GolfLink no. (for
the vast majority of Members).

April Medal Winner

Congratulations to Wayne Davey on taking out the April Monthly Medal with a great score of Nett 65.

“I Bet We Won't See That Again!”

Playing the 5th of the Old Course, Dean Whitaker striped his tee shot into the 150m marker with the ball heading straight left into the trees. Dean made the comment - “I bet we won't see that again”. Enter Simon Conn. Simon played his tee shot directly at the same 150m marker and incredibly, hit it. This time it shot to the right and showing Dean how to do it properly, his ball went on to hit the other 150m marker on the other side of the fairway.

“I bet we won't see that again!”

Please, come in....

Not content with just terrorising people outside, this
Kookaburra took up a post inside the pro shop to get
first dibs on any unsuspecting golfers.
After a little bit of
negotiation, Darren was able evict the unwanted visitor.

I Can See Clearly Now The Trees Have Gone.

Andrew Clarnette has been busy again. This time
working with the ground staff to clear out all of the
trees on the right hand side of the lake on the 22
nd hole
(Lakes 4th).
The tee shot looks far more daunting now
you can actually see the water!!
